Sortino's Italian Kitchen has over 60 years of hospitality heritage tied to the Sortino family in Sandusky.
The resort serves thousands of guests and hosts large-scale events, conferences, and gatherings throughout the year.
This project was completed through Morning Walk Chicago and centered around content production for Sortino's Italian Kitchen at Kalahari Resorts in Sandusky, Ohio. Bringing together hospitality, leadership, and brand storytelling, the production focused on capturing the atmosphere, people, and experiences that help define the Sortino's and Kalahari brands.
As part of the production team, I contributed to on-site video and photo coverage while helping document key moments throughout the event. The opportunity to work alongside industry professionals, restaurant leadership, and Kalahari Resorts representatives provided valuable experience in capturing content within a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Following production, I assisted in the post-production workflow, supporting the editing process and helping transform captured footage into polished marketing assets. The project reinforced the importance of preparation, adaptability, and collaboration while demonstrating how thoughtful visual storytelling can help communicate a brand's identity and values.
